How It Works

Three ways to travel with We Go Yonder — choose your adventure

1

Explore All Trips

Go to All Trips and browse organized tours and all expeditions too. Filter by destination, dates, duration, price, and difficulty to find the adventure that suits you.

2

Pick a Tour & Departure Date

Open any tour to see full details: day-by-day itinerary, inclusions, health requirements, packing information, and available departure dates with room options and live pricing. Choose the departure and room type that works for you.

3

Track in Trip Planner

Your booking appears in the Trip Planner with status updates, departure dates, and links to manage your booking. All your upcoming trips in one place.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Tours and Expeditions?

Tours are fixed itinerary adventures — professionally organised with fixed itineraries, guaranteed departures, and direct booking. Expeditions are target destination adventures created by members of We Go Yonder, with a more personal application and selection process.

Do I need sailing experience to join an expedition or sailboat?

It depends on the listing. Some expeditions and boat owners welcome beginners who are willing to learn, while others require specific skills or certifications. Check each listing's requirements carefully, and be honest in your profile about your experience level.

Where do I track all my bookings in one place?

The Trip Planner consolidates everything — tour bookings, expedition applications, and sailboat bookings — sorted by status or date. You'll also receive notifications for key updates like booking confirmations and application decisions.

Can I be both an expedition leader and a traveller?

Absolutely. You can create your own expeditions via the Trip Leader section while simultaneously applying to join other members' expeditions or booking commercial tours. Your Trip Planner shows all roles in one view.
