Base Camp. Two words, one serious challenge. During this 15-day trekking trip, you’ll realise dreams as immense as the Himalayas themselves. Push your limits as you cross glaciers and broad plains, move through valleys and over high passes and gain insight into Sherpa culture. You'll be swapping phone reception for card games and quiet evenings in cosy teahouses. As well as taking care of all the logistics, Intrepid partners with local mountaineering and porter welfare programs, which support respectful, safe and fair working conditions for the porters and guides who make your trek possible. This is a demanding journey at high altitude, but reaching Base Camp makes every hard-earned step count.
